Here’s a great recipe that would for sure help you make your home stain and ammonia free.
- Vinegar, white
- Hydrogen peroxide
- Liquid detergent
- Baking soda
- The dog’s urinated area must be soaked as soon as possible. Leaving it as it is until it dries may cause a growth in bacteria that in turn causes smell and diseases. In order to soak the urine, you can use wet vacuum or a paper towel. If you are using paper towel, make sure you soak up as much of the urine as possible.
Sometimes, dog urine may dry before you even notice, in order to detect any such signs, you can use a black light.
- Make a solution of fifty percent white vinegar and fifty percent water. Now, utilize a spray bottle to apply this solution to the infected carpet. Use a brush to ensure that the solution penetrate the carpet completely.
- Once the area is dry again, sprinkle a handful of baking soda over the area.
- Make another solution of 3 percent hydrogen peroxide and detergent. Spray it again over the baking soda.
Important Note: Do not use hydrogen peroxide more than 3 percent as it may bleach your carpet.
